A State of the Art Powder Coating Line for NK Coatings

New fully automated powder coating line.

This major investment is part of an ongoing strategy by NK Coatings to keep the NK Group well ahead of the competition in service, quality and price, while keeping to our environmentally friendly credentials.

The powder coating system is the most modern and efficient facility available on the island of Ireland and is specifically designed for flexibility in processing capabilities.  High volume fencing and general products of varying materials can be rapidly processed through the plant, which offers you a fast, efficient turnaround for your coating needs.

The line is fully automated with material loaded and transported through the powder coating processes via a conveyer system then removed for packing prior to onward transportation to your door. 

The first stage of the process is an inline spray pre-treatment system that although modern in design and function, relies on tried and tested chemistry to give the best quality in terms of aesthetics and most importantly coating reliability.

The spray booth is the most advanced available, using cyclonic towers which re-circulate powder during the spraying process, ensuring even application of powder in the most efficient and environmentally friendly fashion.

As part of the new system we have also installed a new cure oven, which again is built using the latest design and manufacturing techniques.  The new inline oven is extremely efficient in terms of energy usage and floor space utilization, helping NK further reduce our carbon footprint.
